Clear Waters

As the bustling summer months wind down, it’s not only the weather that changes.

While we move towards the fall season, we’re often reminded to slow down, reflect, and reprioritize the things that truly matter to us. In September and October, the pace eases as we return to our routines, and we find ourselves drawn back to the people and moments that we hold closest. Holidays that bring us together like Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner. 

To me; this image encapsulates the graceful transition from long and lively summer days, to a more serene and tranquil atmosphere provided by the autumn months. There’s usually a comforting quietness in that shift. Glen’s ability to capture imagery that tells a story with its composition will always be inspiring to me. 

The fall season in our hometown of Kelowna, BC is always incredibly beautiful. The maple trees shift from their usual verdant green, to a deep and earthy yellow. The orchards light up with fiery orange tones. The light softens as the days get a little shorter. It truly is a spectacular transition from summer to fall here in BC, and I think Glen captured the essence of that shift perfectly with this image.

Here’s to the end of a beautiful summer, and the beginning of a slower, more meaningful season.
